Life can be challenging for individuals and families affected by special needs, but it's important to remember the many things that we are thankful for in life! With the holiday season just around the corner, participants were invited to "give thanks" with The Autism Initiative. For the month of November, we got creative with paper, stamps, watercolors, ribbons, and more! We made beautiful and unique "Thank You" cards and created a gigantic "Thankful Turkey" to gear up for Thanksgiving.
Parents, siblings, and caretakers enjoyed an assortment of coffee beverages and tasty treats while the kids let loose making greeting cards. Free cookies and hot chocolate were available, courtesy of Puzzles Bakery & Café and The Happy Cappuccino. Thanks to all who came out for this fun and free event!
